BOOK REVIEW: The Younger Man by Karina Halle
Book Review: The Younger Man by Kariana Hale
I love Kariana Hale!!! She is one of my favorite rommance authors. Ever since I read The Swedish Prince, I have been hooked and this book did not disappoint. If you want to read a dramatic, sweet & romantic book, then look no further!!! The Younger Man is the right book for you.
The Younger Man follows the love story of Thalia Blackwood and Alejo Albarado. Thalia is 40 years old and need a fresh start, especially after her painful divorce. When she is offered a new job as the sport therapist in Madrid, she jumps at the chance. There she meets Alejo Albarado , the new football star of Real Madrid. Despite everyone and everything telling them not to, the two are drawn to one anothe and sparks fly when they finally give in. But can their new love defy all the odds stacked against them?
I really like this book. It has everything I look for in a good book: good characters, humor & drama, and a well-paced storyline with gorgeous writing. I love Thalia as a protagnist. She feel very real and authentic as a character. I loved watching her gain back her confidence and independence for herself. And I loved her relationship with Alejo. Alejo may be younger but he's very mature for his age. He doesn't care about Thalia's age or appearence. Those things don't matter to him. He loves her and he only cares about her and her happiness. Love Him!!!
Overall, this was a really great book. If you are looking for a steamy, gorgeous, and passionate romance book, I highly recommend this book! A solid 4 out of 5 stars for me.
Fun Fact: Characters from Kariana Hale's other book Love in English make an appearance in this book. Also, Kariana Hale is also releasing a sort of sequel called The One That Got Away which comes out on September 20th, 2020.
