YA Books You Need to Read

 

 Here's a list of YA Books that I think everyone should read at least once in their lifetime:  

1.) Daughter of Smoke & Bone 

    If you haven't read a Laini Taylor book, you are missing out. Laini Taylor's book are poetry. She has written some of the most beauitful sentences I have ever read in my life and the Daughter of Smoke & Bone is no excpetion. This series is not only beauitfully written but also amazing characters and a plot that is out of this world. If you like reading about magic, past lives & reincarnation, and angels with magic, you need to Laini Taylor's Daughter of Smoke & Bone. 

2.) Wolf by Wolf 

    I think Wolf by Wolf took everyone by surprise. I feel like this book came out of no where and then it blew everyone away with its amazing. This book takes place in a fictional world with the Nazis won World War II and have taken over most of the world. Yael, a Jew and death camp survior, is determined to end Nazi Regime and has plans to assinate the man who started this all. This book is an exciting, heart-jerking and action-packed series. Yael is also a amazing protagnist who is both awe inspirational and relateable. Wolf by Wolf is a YA masterpiece that everyone should read and love. 

3.) I'll Give You the Sun 

    After I finished this book, I cried. It is that amazing! I'll Give You The Sun follows the story of faternal twins, Jude & Noah, who were once inseperable but now rarely speak. Noah tells the story of the years before and reveals the reason why the twins have grown apart. Jude tells the story of year later and shows their family attempting to heal and come together again. This book is beautiful and moving. It makes you feel all sorts of emotions in the best way possible. I'll Give You the Sun is one of the best books I have read in my entire life and you need to read this book too! 

4.) Truly Devious 

    Truly Devious is a brillant book. This is not your typical YA book. Truly Devious is centered around Stevie Bell, a crime enthusiast, trying to solve the crime of the century at the infamous Ellingham Academy. This book is the perfect thriller novel filled with dark twist and turns and a surprise at every corner. If you like murder mystery and thriller novels, then Truly Devious is a must read.

5.) This Savage Song 

   There is a lot of hype surrounding this book and for a good reason. This Savage Song takes place in world monsters come to life and no where is safe.  I notice on goodreads that some people called this book a generic YA book but let me tell you, it is anything but that. Victoria Schwab creates a world unlike any other that is filled with complex characters and a addicting & action-packed plot. This Savage Song is a amazing book that deserves more praise. If you haven't read this book, then you must.
