Books You Must Read This Fall

 

    I love Fall!!! What is there not to love! The weather, the fashion, and of course, the books. This is the perfect season to read myster thriller and dark fantasy novels. And here is a list of books that are a must read for the fall season. 

1.) Truly Devious 

    Truly Devious is one of the best YA Mystery Novels, if the not the BEST. Truly, Devious follows the story of Stevie Bell as she tries to uncover the mystery of the century at the pretigious Ellingham Academy. If you are looking for a dark mystery novel with plenty of twist and turns, then you must read Maureen Johnson's Truly, Devious.

2.)  These Violet Delights 

    These Violent Delights is set to be released on November 17, 2020 and I cannot wait. This book takes place in 1920s Shanghai and has elements of Shakespeare and the supernatural. Remember to mark your calenders because you must read this book. 

3.) Mexican Gothic 

        Looking for something scary to read? Then check out Silvia Moreno-Garcia's Mexican Gothic.

If you haven't read this book, then you need to. This book has everything you could have ask for. A suspensefull and thrilling plot? Check. A witty and bad-ass protagonist. Check. Read this book because I promise you, you will not regret it. 

4.) This Savage Song

    This is one of my favorite YA series ever and I cannot recommend this book enough. This Savage Song takes place in a world where sin breeds monsters and no one is safe. We follow the story of August, a monster who wants to be human, and Kate, a human who wants to be as ruthless as a monster. This series is amazing and is perfect for the fall season. If you haven't read this book, then you need to. 

5.) NeverNight 

        Love fantasy? Assassins? Revenge stories? Then you must read Jay Kristoff's Nevernight. Nevernight follows the story of Mia Corvere as she joins the Red Church, the deadlist flock of assassins in the Republic, and sets off on a path of vengence. Nevernight is amazing book and the Nevernight Chronicles is one of the best high fantasy books out there. If you haven't read this book, then you must.
