The Winner's Trilogy

 

        I love this book series!!! The Winner's Trilogy is easily one of my favorite YA series of all time. If not the best YA series of my entire life. Everytime I read these books I find something more to love. Marie Rutkoski is a master with a pen. She not only effortless creates a new and intriguing fantasy world but also gives us complex characters and an action packed plot to follow. If you looking a book about forbidden lovers torned apart by war and politics, then you must read The Winner's Trilogy.

    Pros: First of all, I love these characters. Kestrel is one of my favorite YA characters ever. I love her. I love how badass she is despite the fact that she's not really a warrior. She's a strategist. Her greatest weapon is her mind. Not her sword. I love that! Arin is also a great character as well. I love his devotion and unwavering loyalty to those around him. But what I love even more is the dynamic and romance between these two characters. I love how they were both able to look past each other's differences and bulid a solid bond beyond that. They are also extremely adorable together! I love them!  

    Also, the plot is on another level. It's filled with secrets, intrigue, politics, and war. There's not a single second in this book where I wasn't at the edge of my seat. 

    Cons: I have none!!! Seriously, this book has everything you could ever ask for. Brillant Romance? Check. Great characters? Check. Action packed plot filled with twist and turns? Check. I legitmately have nothing but praise for this series. In case I haven't made it clear, THIS BOOK SERIES IS AMAZING. READ IT!!!!

    Overally, I give this entire series 5 out of 5 stars. I love these books! Marie Rutkoski is a brillant writer and the Winner's Trilogy is a masterpiece. Read this book series. It is a must that you do!
